Extra Channels
1) Mount a SPST / center-off switch somewhere on the radio. 2) Locate pin 11 on the PLL MB8719 chip and cut the trace going to it. 3) Solder a 4.7k ohm resister accross the cut. 4) Solder a wire from the middle pin of the switch to pin 11 on the PLL. 5) Solder one side of the switch to PCB ground. 6) Solder the other side of the switch to pin 9 on the PLL.
With the switch in the center, you'll get just the regular channels. Depending on which way you switch the switch, you'll have 2 separate channel banks.

Unlocking the Clarifier
1) Remove D45 2) Remove D79 and put a jumper in its spot. 3) Change R120 to a 470 ohm resister. 4) Follow the Blue wire from the clarifier control to the PCB board and desolder it from the board. 5) Resolder this Blue wire into the hole that is next to where R120 was or is. 6) Follow the Grey wire from the clarifier control to the PCB board and desolder it from the board. 7) Resolder this Grey wire to a 8.5 volt source. (center pin of TR39)
You should have about 3 Khz of slide.
